NEXT ENERGY is an independent non-profit research institute whose purpose is to play an active role in shaping the technological changes that are paving the way towards a climate friendly, economically viable and safe energy supply. With our broad subject expertise, we support our partners from industry and research in developing innovative solutions.
NEXT ENERGY’s expertise in its Fuel Cells, Energy Storage and Photovoltaics Research Divisions ranges from materials research to systems integration, covering key technologies that are of crucial importance for the transformation to decentralised energy provision. In our Energy Systems Research Division, we bring these components together in integrated solutions for buildings, cities, and regions. From a systemic standpoint, we also address the modelling and analysis of future electricity supply systems at the national and international level.
