SITI – Istituto Superiore sui Sistemi Territoriali per l’Innovazione

SiTI- Higher Institute on Territorial Systems for Innovation, is a no profit association set up in 2002 between the Politecnico di Torino (Technical University of Turin) and the Compagnia di San Paolo (one of the main bank foundations in Italy), to carry out research and training oriented towards innovation and socio-economic growth.

SiTI is a permanent organization of the Compagnia di San Paolo, with a strong interdisciplinary approach, specifically devoted to territorial systems. Its activities are mainly concentrated in the following sectors: Energy & Security, Environmental heritage and urban redevelopment, Logistics and transport.

Building on the different skills available within the Politecnico di Torino, SITI increases its capacity by cooperating with many researchers and specialists and other Universities and national and international research centers. The Institute carries out projects funded by public and private institutions and, as no profit organization, the Institute co-finances strategic territorial projects.
